I have had arthritis in my hands for nearly 50 years. With some meds I have been mostly pain free for the past 15. However, I have been quite limited with many finger movements and pain to touch, especially at the base of both thumbs. I have been unable to open lids, pick up small items, hold a book to read, or button buttons. I was skeptical that the machine would have any positive effect but agreed to try it with an open mind. After the first hour there was no change. Bit by bit I noticed more flexibility and less pain on touch. After the fifth hour, I could snap the fingers on my left hand which I have been unable to do for more than 20 years! I use the PEMF one hour daily and the greatest benefit is pain relief for my knees. My knees were injured while in the US Army and over the years they have deteriorated. Initially I was told not to run but today even walking results in pain. The best example is when I play golf. On the back 9 the pain starts and by the end of a round I can hardly walk. The left knee is worse than the right and I am unable to put any significant weight on that side. I will be hobbled this way for several days. The first time I tried PEMF following a day on the links it seemed too good to be true. After 30 minutes the pain was completely gone, and I was walking normally.
This made me suspicious, and my first thought was that must all be in my head. The mind can do miraculous things after all. It was permanent as if I had never stressed my knees at all.
